Microsoft Specialist Trainer with Best STL, London
A recent contract was completed with the number one provider of Microsoft Office training and consultancy in the UK. Whilst there one of our trainers delivered training on a range of Microsoft Office applications (2003-2013) from beginner level through to advanced for high profile companies within the London region.
Systems Trainer with New Mind Internet Consultancy
For over five years one was employed as the Systems Trainer for New Mind Internet Consultancy dealing directly with large tourism clients around the UK and overseas. He devised, arranged and delivered specialised training courses primarily to clients on: online tourism databases; booking systems; content management systems training; and consumer relationship management modules. This training was normally carried out face to face but also included remote sessions delivered using Glance and Webex.
They were also responsible for updating and editing the written user guides in response to new modules and developments. In addition to this they also designed and developed a range of online e-learning resources using Adobe Captivate and Camtasia Studio, and a series of online video tutorials used to launch a new system roll-out for Visit Scotland.
IT Trainer with First Wessex Housing Group
For over a year one worked for FWHG, comprising of a range of social housing related companies. They were involved in inducting new staff in IT procedures; and developing and delivering a range of bespoke IT systems training sessions for the different departments.
IT Lecturer employed by Milton Keynes College
One worked as an IT Lecturer for Milton Keynes College. Whilst there they updated their IT skills, becoming familiar with the revised CLAIT syllabus. They were also involved in the co-ordination and delivery of a ‘Ready For Work’ course to prepare prisoners for employment.
Trainer and Project Leader with SAFE (Southampton Action For Employment)
During his time with SAFE, one worked both as a trainer and a project leader. This involved overseeing employment preparation courses around the city as well as the provision of Information and Guidance in the west of Southampton. They were given the title of ‘ICT Professional Lead’ as a response to the level of commitment that he showed to developing and updating the IT course provision.
Sessional I.T. Tutor for Clearwater Associates
In this position one of our trainers taught and assessed a wide range of computing courses to students of various ages and abilities. Subjects taught included Word Processing; Spreadsheets; Database; Desktop Publishing; Introduction to Windows; Use of Networks; Graphical Representation of Data; and Internet Technology.
